First: install

---

• scatter_1.0.5.zip installation (If the download is not possible, copy the link and reopen it in a new window.)

• Decompress the compressed package

• Open the browser extension program, open developer mode in the upper right corner, and then click on load the extracted extension program in the upper left corner. Select the directory you just extracted to complete the installation.

Second: Add network

• Click icon and enter settings。

• ClickNetwork and check if there are any networks you need. If not, click the New button in the upper right corner to add them.

Third: Add private keys

• Private keys，enter key pairs。

• Click New to create new key pair

Fourth: Add identity (associated network and key pair)

• Click Identity to enter identity list

• Click New to create new identity. Just fill in the red area, no additional information is required.

• Click Save

• Three steps are complete, and when Dapp initiates a transaction request, it will call up the corresponding network's identity.

• Sometimes the bullet box cannot be seen, which may be caused by:

  1. The frame is non modal, so it can be obscured by browsing or other windows. Minimizing unnecessary windows may lead to finding them.

  2. The pop-up box that appeared in the previous operation was not closed. This request is to close the previous pop-up box. The pop-up logic is as follows: if there is a pop-up request during the operation, it will detect whether the pop-up already exists. If it does, it will close the pop-up (and not reopen a new one). If not saved, the pop-up will open normally.

Import backup

• Download backup files. Below are several commonly used test accounts and test networks. scatter_1655174591440.scatter_backup.txt

• You can only choose to import the plugin after it has just been installed. Scatters that already have an identity cannot be imported unless they are destroyed before restarting.
